Homebuyer Tax Credit Closer to Passage
Flying through the Senate in an lopsided 97-1 vote, the unemployment benefits extension bill with the homebuyer tax credit attached passed today and moves on to the House tomorrow. Passage of this bill would effectively do more for the economy at the grass roots level than any other stimulus package that has been dreamed up.
